Eerste stuk gemist (volgens mij);
William Thacker meets Anna Scott at his travelbookshop. Little time later he meets her again and he throws accidently some jus d'orange over her clothes. He feels sorry and offer her his house to clean her clothes. They like each other. A bit later he goes to her Hotel and pretends like he's a reporter, from Hound & Horses. He gave her flowers.
Will's sister gives her birthdayparty. Anna is coming too. After the diner they decide to go to Anna's apartment. She asks him to come upstairs. But suddenly her boyfriend stands in her apartment. Will pretends like he is a waiter. Will is very sad about this. He leaves.
A few days/weeks ( i don't know exactly how long it takes ) later Anna stood in front of William's house because there have been leaked images of her look like porn. So she hopes she can stay at william's house. William is sharing his house with his funny friend, Spike. Spike had told about Anna, that she was in his house, while he sat in the pub. So the next day the press stood at the doorstep. Anna leaves his house angry because she thought william had told it to them. He decides to forget here but unsuccessfully.
A year later Anna is back in U.K. again. She is playing in a new movie. Will approaches the set of the film, and Anna invites him to watch. Will listens via the sounds system while Anna is having a break. He heard her telling that he was just some guy. Will leaves. The next day, Anna comes to the bookshop again. She's trying to get a date or something with him but he turns her down. ( still hurt and sad ) She gave him a present too, a painting. Will meets his friends. He's brainstorming with them whether it was a good idea or not. Everyone agrees, till Spike comes into the room. He calls him a daft prick. He realizes he had made the most stupid fault in his entire life. They all go to Savoy where Anna is. She 's holding a pressconference. William can come in. He stands between all the press. And he ask the question: 'are there any circumstances in which the two of you might be more then just good friends?' Anna and william have a 'talk' - in the third person- during the conference. She says that she will stay in Brittain indefinitely. In the end she's pregnant!
